How To Prepare
Fridge Preparation
Ensure your fridge has the capacity to store your cake once it has been collected from Tee Cakes. We advise creating fridge space for your cake prior to leaving the venue/house to ensure a smooth process of transfer to the chilled environment. The cake must be refrigerated as soon as it arrives at its destination.
Transport Arrangements
Ensure the vehicle is free from clutter in the footwell where the cake will be positioned for the journey. The cake needs to be transported on a flat surface in the vehicle. Under no circumstance should your cake be transported on the seat. We advise keeping the front passenger and back passenger footwell free, in case of space limits. The boot may be used as an option to transport your cake in the case the footwell can't contain your cake.

The cake must be transported in an air conditioned vehicle to ensure the cake doesn't melt.
Handling Your Cake
Always hold cakes your cakes from the bottom up. Avoid leaning the cake against your body.

When taking your cake out of the vehicle, slide both hands under the cake box (or one hand on either side of the base of the box) and lift upwards. Avoid leaning/slanting the cake for longer than 30 seconds during this process. Ensure your surroundings are free from clutter to prevent you from tripping when walking with your cake.
